Work Site Assesments

Work Place Assessments can provide a helpful link between hand therapy and the realities of a workplace.

Work Place Assessments are used to ensure a safe and meaningful return to work for an injured worker.
It is very helpful for the hand therapist to meet up with the worker at the workplace where the exact job requirements can be demonstrated and appreciated by the hand therapist.
The hand therapist is then able to marry up the workers current abilities with the requirements of the job and develop a return to work plan.

Most of the hand therapists at Melbourne Hand Rehab are authorised by WorkSafe to perform work site assessments. In some of the more complex cases, we may also refer to an occupational rehabilitation provider for further assistance in this area.
